Purpose of the Position
To ensure that the educational and instructional activities of the assigned unit are carried out effectively, in full compliance with the University's Management Systems, applicable legislation, and institutional regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out duties specified in the academic calendar in a timely manner.
- Teach assigned courses and conduct or supervise practical training where applicable.
- Conduct scholarly research and publish academic work.
- Serve on departmental boards, committees, and working groups as assigned.
- Perform duties assigned by the Dean, Head of Department, and Head of Division.
- Chair the Departmental Disciplinary Board when serving as the most senior lecturer in the absence of faculty members, where applicable.
- Participate actively in departmental commissions and committees.
- Contribute to the preparation, revision, and planning of course syllabi and teaching materials.
- Support the organization of national and international scientific conferences and academic events.
- Ensure the efficient, effective, and economical use of institutional resources.
- Participate in Erasmus+, Farabi, Mevlana, and other exchange program activities.
- Provide support for students with disabilities and international students.
- Submit an annual report of academic activities to the Head of Department.
- Prepare and submit course files at the end of each semester and ensure examination documents and assignment records are archived appropriately.
- Provide academic advising and student guidance.
- Facilitate the orientation of assigned advisees to the department and the University.
- Ensure that final examination grades are submitted to the Student Affairs Office within the prescribed deadlines.
- Request departmental approval for any changes to assigned courses.
- Ensure the effective delivery of assigned courses and the proper administration of examinations according to the approved schedule.
- Coordinate with the Head of Department regarding any changes to classrooms, laboratories, or other instructional facilities.
- Ensure that students maintain workshops, laboratories, and instructional spaces in an orderly and safe condition during practical courses.
- Review and evaluate the results of student satisfaction surveys and contribute to improvement activities.
Authority
Authorized to sign documents within the scope of committee memberships and assigned responsibilities.
Delegation of Authority
When absence is unavoidable, teaching duties shall be assigned to another qualified lecturer capable of delivering the same course. Administrative duties shall be delegated to personnel of equivalent status as designated by the relevant supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the general qualifications specified in Higher Education Law No. 2547.
- Possess the academic qualifications, professional competence, and experience required for the position.
